Joint Pain & Bone Health

Joint pain and bone health research involves two largely separate compound categories that are often conflated in self-experimentation communities. PTH-related peptides—teriparatide, abaloparatide, and palopegteriparatide—are FDA-approved drugs with extensive clinical records specifically for osteoporosis, a defined bone-density condition. BPC-157 and TB-500 are discussed for joint and soft tissue pain in community contexts but operate through entirely different mechanisms and have far weaker evidence bases for bone or joint applications specifically.

Compounds with Research Relevant to Joint Pain and Bone Health

Each compound links to its full pillar article. The most useful sections for evaluating a specific application are the Claims vs. Evidence table and the Safety, Risks, and Limitations section. Evidence tiers reflect the strongest available data for a compound overall—not necessarily for this specific application.
